Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth Deheck, 86, of Clemmons, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Shirley was born in Pound, VA on October 9, 1935, to the late Delmar Branham and Marie Warrick Branham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Howard Deheck and her daughter, Rosemarie Sanders. She is survived by her son, Richard Howard Deheck, II (Debbie); her daughter, Vicki Lynn Deheck; and three grandchildren, Austin (Ramsey), Caroline and Nathaniel. Shirley was her own woman. She worked many years before marrying her husband. Shirley was a stylish woman. She liked to make dresses for herself and her daughters. She enjoyed making quilts and loved to bake. Christmas cookies were her specialty. She liked to travel and did several trips across the USA. She especially loved Las Vegas and the western United States. Shirley was loving wife and mother. The family will hold a private graveside service at Collins Family Cemetery in Pound, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 8180 Greensboro Dr., Suite 400, McLean, VA 22102 or Well Care Hospice, 5380 US 158, Suite 210, Advance, NC 27006. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Deheck.
