Time to be born:
On the 11th day of January 1949, a bouncing baby boy was born to Sherwin and Christine Simms. They named him Shervad Simms.
Shervad enjoyed doing many things, Fishing, Hunting to name a few. Most of all he was a loving husband, provider and father. He loved his family, his wife and his children from the eldest child to the youngest great grandchild. He wanted always the best for them.
As a person:
Shervad was someone that people could find help and encouragement in. Shervad served as an elder in his local church Zion Baptist Church Murphy Town.
A time to die:
Shervad suffered his first stroke or what was thought to be the first about 8 years ago. He would suffer even more strokes which left him in a debilitative state.
