Sherry Michelle Hairston

Sherry Michelle Hairston, 43 of Rural Hall, NC departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at her home. She was born August 28, 1978 in Forsyth County to Michael Tilden Sheff and Mary Alice Hairston. Sherry graduated from RJ Reynolds High School class of 1997. Sherry continued her education and graduated from Carolina Beauty College of Winston-Salem, NC pursuing her passion of cosmetology throughout her life. Sherry worked at Sonoco Display & Packaging of Rural Hall, NC prior to her brief illness. Sherry loved spending time with her family and friends and had an infectious smile and very out-going personality that will forever be cherished. Sherry was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Mamie Lorene Hairston Ziglar; her paternal grandparents, Mamie Carolyn Eller Sheff and Clinton Theodore Sheff, and paternal great-grandparents Marshall and Jettie Eller. In addition to her parents Sherry is survived by her two children of the home; Tyrek and Kamisha Hairston, three siblings; Michael Dwayne, Sylvia and Carolyn Hairston; three uncles Medgar Tyron Sheff, Leonard Hairston, and Demery Ziglar, two aunts; Linda Hairston and Dollie Kinnard, two nieces and a nephew; DeShai, Kayla, and Demond Hairston, two devoted cousins; Antonio and Monica Hairston, and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted December 4, 2021, 2:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 305 Bethania Rural Hall Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045. Rev. Rodney Davis and Bishop Tyron Tyson officiating. The family will receive visitation before the service from 1:00PM-2:00PM.
