Mrs. Sherry Cheek Boyles, 65, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. She was born in Surry County on October 23, 1955 to Bobby Clinton Cheek and Myrtle Macemore Cheek. Sherry was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church. She was a huge supporter of Southwest Forsyth Little League, where her sons played baseball. She never missed a game, and she came to make so many friends during David and Adam’s years of playing baseball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Boyles. Surviving family includes her sons, David (Lauren) Boyles and Adam (Laura) Boyles; grandchildren, Kinley and Brooks Boyles; brother, Jeff (Deb) Cheek; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Dr. Paul Mullen officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Brenner Children's Hospital Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157, Shriners Hospitals for Children Attn: Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to extend a big thank you to the staff at Brookridge Retirement Community for the loving care they have given to Sherry and her family during her time there.
