KERNERSVILLE-Ms. Sherri Kay Fritts Alvarado, 52 died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County to Muriel Jones Fritts and the late Thomas Frank Fritts Sr. Sherri was a Registered Nurse with the NC department of Corrections in Davidson County and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints Church in Colfax. In addition to her mother of Kernersville, surviving are her daughter, Elena Alvarado of the home; one brother, Thomas Frank Fritts, Jr. and wife Kari of Kernersville; two sisters, Cynthia Diane Fox and husband, Frank of Kernersville and Debra Sue Dophied and husband, Randy of Angier. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in Colfax with Bishop Barry Page officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
