Mrs. Shelia Ann Ford Coleman, 65, passed away June 1, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County. Mrs. Coleman was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church where she was loved very much by her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Rose Ring and her brother, Kenneth Ford. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her loving husband, Rickie Lee Coleman; a daughter, Patricia Miller and husband, Tracy of Dobson; three sons, Samuel Sykes and Timothy Sykes of Dobson, Chris Sykes and wife, Donette of Mt. Airy; twelve grandchildren, Devin Miller and wife, Jordan, Cameron, Kayla, and Autumn Miller, Brad and Dusty Roberson, Jake, C.J. and Salem Sykes, Brandon Barber, Justice and McKayla Creed; a sister Carol Shepherd and husband, Charles of Lexington; foster parents, Samuel ""Bud"" Pennington and wife Blanche. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Grapevine Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
