Shelby Gwynn Royal

Shelby Gwynn Royal of Winston-Salem passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on November 5, 2014. She was born on February 21, 1961 to Kyle Artie Gwynn and Carrie Justice Gwynn in Forsyth County. Shelby was a cancer survivor twice and served as a volunteer at Cancer Services. She loved dogs and adopted several rescue dogs. She will be missed by her many loving friends. In addition to her parents, Shelby was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Roger Gwynn. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Dennis Royal; 3 sisters, Theresa Gwynn Wagner, Shelia Gwynn, and Vicky Gwynn; as well as 3 nephews, Jason Wagner, Andrew and Brandon Baker. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
