Mrs. Shelby Jean Walker Lineberry, 73, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1936 in Wilkes County to S. Eugene and Nancy Holloway Walker. Mrs. Lineberry was of the Baptist faith. She worked for ARA Food Services until her retirement. She loved her family foremost, and loved helping other people. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother. Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Roger Lineberry of the home; one son, Robert Lineberry and wife Eileen of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Steve Walker and wife Janice of Pfafftown, Halley Walker of Hayes, Bill Walker of N. Wilkesboro, and Cecil Barnes and wife Sheila of N. Wilkesboro; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Clawson officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
