Shelby Baker Clayton

Mrs. Shelby Baker Clayton, 76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 11, 2015. She was born July 6, 1938 in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late Vernon Vann Baker and Edna Smitherman Baker. She was an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Bobby Donald Clayton of the home and one son, Kelly Donald Clayton. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with Rev. Emily Larsen and Rev. Eric Larson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to; St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 357 Old Hollow Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105, Cancer Services, 3175 Maplewood Avenue, Winston-Salem NC 27103, or Hospice & Palliative Center, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
