Shelby Beck

Mrs. Shelby Jean Blackburn Beck, 78, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born August 26, 1939 in Wilkes County to the late Demmie Bauguss Blackburn and John Clayton Blackburn. Mrs. Beck was a loving wife and mother, and an angel to all. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kymberly Beck. She is survived by her loving husband, James Beck; one daughter, Khristina Jordan (Ricky); one son, Michael Beck; six grandchildren: Shannon Beck, Zakary Jordan, Clayton Jordan, Nickolas Jordan, Matthew Beck, and Elizabeth Beck; and two sisters, Charlene Thompson (Wayne) and Polly Myers (Jerry). A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
