Sheila Walsh

Sheila Jean Walsh, born January 26th, 1955 passed away January 18th, 2021. Sheila grew up in Wilkes County, North Carolina and attended North West Guilford High School. She resided in Forsyth County most of her life and later moved to Roanoke, Virginia. She spent the majority of her working years at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) and when she retired, she returned to North Carolina to be closer to her family. Sheila was a loving sister and friend to everyone, but most of all, she was an amazing aunt and mother to her fur baby, Olive. A private memorial service was held February 1st, 2021 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge, North Carolina.

Survivors include her loving companion and rescue dog, Olive. Also, surviving are her two brothers Thomas Edwin ‘Doc’ Walsh (Martha) of Kernersville, Gaither Joe Walsh (Debbie) of Walkertown, and her sister Pamela Trivette (Paul) of Belews Creek.

Special thanks to all the family and friends who helped care for Sheila this past year. Also, a thank you to the Kernersville Fire & Rescue Department; they were a great help to Sheila during her time of need. If you wish to do something for the family of Sheila Walsh, we would like to request that you donate to the Kernersville Fire & Rescue Department Station 41 at 316 W Bodenheimer Street in Kernersville, North Carolina to show our appreciation for their hard work.
