Mrs. Sheila Benedict Quinn, 64, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 10, 2015. She was born in Ontario, Canada on November 29, 1950 to Percy and Marie Benedict. Mrs. Quinn retired in Nursing with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church and was very proud of her Canadian citizenship. Mrs. Quinn loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and was very proud of her three children and she always had a special place in her heart for her pets. Preceding her in death was her father, Percy Benedict. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Barry Quinn; daughter, Shannon Quinn Kimel; son, Justin Quinn and wife, Amanda; daughter, Ashley Nicole Vaught and husband, John; four precious grandchildren, Heather Kimel, Sage Vaught, Bayden Quinn, and Gunter Quinn; mother, Marie Josephine (Lapier) Benedict; two sisters, Cheryl Will and husband, Burvell and Gloria Jung; sister-in-law, Jeanette Mellish and husband, Gordon; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will be held at Clemmons Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Q. Ray Burke officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemmons Moravian Church Building Fund, PO Box 730 Clemmons, NC 27012. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Quinn family.
