Shea Allen Ashburn

ASHBURN - KING Shea Allen Ashburn passed away Sunday, July 17 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on September 18, 1993 to Teresa Rogers Ashburn and Billy Joe Ashburn Jr. Shea was of the Moravian faith and was a student at Forsyth Technical Community College. He enjoyed four-wheeling, skateboarding, video games and scraping steel. Shea also loved animals and all types of music. He never met a stranger. Shea will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Shea was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Joe Ashburn Sr. and maternal grandfather, A.J. Rogers. Surviving are his mother, Teresa R. Ashburn of King; father, Billy Ashburn (Tammy Snow) of King; maternal grandmother, Margie Rogers of Rural Hall; paternal grandmother, Betty Ashburn of King; maternal great-grandfather, Tom W. Anderson of Mt. Airy; paternal great-grandmother, Edith Ashburn of Winston-Salem; three special family members, Ashley, Joshua and Cassidy; and also, several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Mr. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22 at the funeral home.
