Sharon Smith Landreth

STOKESDALE- Sharon Smith Landreth, 63, went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2013. She was born July 28, 1949 in Guilford County to the late Ivan Edward and Hettie Farrington Smith. Sharon was a beloved wife and sister, who will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wade Landreth; and two sisters, Wanda Robertson and Susan Smith. Surviving are one sister, Charlene Lamp (John) of Colfax; three brothers, Caesar Smith (Pamela) of Bethany, Joe Smith of Colfax and Michael Smith (Renea) of Stokesdale; step children, Timmy Landreth and Dell Renea Vandenberg; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Wanda Lancaster and Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of the Piedmont and dear friend, Brenda Richardson and daughter, Penney.
