Sharon Kirby Lawson

Mrs. Sharon Lee Kirby Lawson, 74, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on June 2, 1950, in Panama to the late Leroy Kirby and Viola Welborn Kirby. Sharon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in King. She was an avid gardener who also enjoyed canning and freezing the food she grew. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry Gray Lawson; one son, Jeffrey Lawson (Joelle); one daughter, Christa Broyhill (Dwayne); two granddaughters, Brea L. Pearman (Austin), and Olyvia L. Martin (Michael); one grandson, Grayson Broyhill. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in King with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
