Walkertown – Ms. Sharon Eleanor Terrell Elliott, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her residence. She was born on April 28, 1946 in Rockingham County to Walter Lee and Eleanor Hill Terrell. After high school, Sharon attended Business College. Sharon loved sewing and quilting. She was always making things for her children and grandchildren. She was a caretaker at heart and always took care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren as they were growing up. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Elliott and two brothers, Gene and Robert Terrell.

She is survived by her companion, Jack Davis; three children, Denise Litaker, Paulette Arnold (husband, Charles), and Lee Elliott; four grandchildren, Brittany Downing (husband, Ed), Amber McDaniel, Brycen Elliott, and Zane Elliott; three great grandchildren, Kylie Downing, Leanna Visser, and Rylan Downing; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Sharon will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Tim Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
