Sharon Davis Doomy

Sharon Davis Doomy, “Mama Doomy”, 81, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 21,1943 to the late Roy Arthur and Evelyn Grim Davis. Mrs. Doomy owned and operated Doomy’s Pizza in Lewisville for 18 years. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She was a member at Vienna Baptist Church in Pfafftown. She enjoyed her friendship with many. She was a member of the fun bunch at the Yadkinville YMCA. Preceding her in death was her husband, H. Frank Doomy; daughter, Lynn Houser; great-granddaughter, Noa Cooper; two sons-in-law, Jim Houser and Michael Goings and four brothers. Surviving are four sons, Bill Doomy (Candy), Frank Doomy (Elena), John Doomy (Lynda), and Al Doomy (Joy); daughter, Pam Goings; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

 A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
