Sharon Perryman Carpenter

Sharon P. Carpenter, 68, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on May 27, 2015 after a long struggle with various health issues. She was born on April 2, 1947 in Forsyth County to Dr. Olin ""Bud"" C. Perryman, Jr. and Mrs. Ellen B. Perryman. She was preceded in death by an infant son and her father. She was a member of Konnoak Hills Moravian Church and enjoyed church activities prior to her health struggles. Also, she was an avid gardener, loved painting and flower arranging. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her doggies, ""Baby"" and Franklin"" as well. She is survived and remembered with love by her husband, Al Carpenter; daughter, Robyn Pegram and husband, Mark (Alex, Zachary) of Kernersville; mother, Ellen Perryman of W-S; sister, Marsha Fowler of W-S; step-children, Daryl and Angie Carpenter (Ashley, Destiny, Pryce, Tyler) of Walnut Cove, Kim Marie and Billy Mason (Erica, Nick, Zachary, Taylor) of Mocksville, Tanya and Donny Hill (Mason, Isaiah, Isabella) of Manassas, VA, and Josh Carpenter of W-S. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Konnoak Hills Moravian Church with Rev. John D. Rights officiating. Interment will follow at God's Acre in Old Salem. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
