Sharon Frady Brewer

Mrs. Sharon Ann Frady Brewer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed Saturday, May 22 at her home. She was born November 5, 1950 in Lenoir City, TN to the late Samuel Wilbur Frady and Frances Davis Frady. In 1967 she married Wilton Canada Brewer and they shared 43 years of life together. Anyone who knew Sharon knew what a wonderful cook she was and that her specialty was her homemade, hand-patted biscuits. Unfortunately, though she tried to show us how to do this memorized recipe many times, none of her children were able to pick up this marvelous skill! Those biscuits will remain legendary. Sharon enjoyed canning fruits, vegetables and pickles. She and Wilton always had a bountiful vegetable garden every year, which was enjoyed by many. Sharon made beautiful hand crocheted afghans and baby blankets which she delighted in giving away to family and friends. She loved to read and passed this trait on to her children. Sharon loved to laugh and was even guilty of one or two good practical jokes. She was a strong-willed, soft-hearted, dependable person, who was there for people when needed, both during good and bad times. She loved greatly her children and granddaughters, and was proud of all their accomplishments. She looked forward to seeing grandchildren graduating from college and her yearly beach trip to Daytona, Florida with her husband. Surviving are her husband, Wilton ""Pap"" Brewer; a brother, Ronnie Mike Frady of Charlotte; two daughters, Sherrie Ann Markle of Tarpon Springs, FL and Traci Marie Brewer of King; one son, Wilton Samuel Brewer of Winston-Salem and three glorious granddaughters, Amber Dawn Goddard of Charlotte, Bridgett Mae Nichole Brewer of Tarpon Springs, FL and Anastasia Marie Brewer of King. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the United Cerebral Palsy Fund.. ""We loves ya Shurn, Mama, Mamaw."" Online condolences may be sent to www.hayworth-miller.com.
