Shanna Michelle Russell

Shanna Michelle Russell, 30, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010. She was born January 25, 1980 in Greensboro to Karen Shelton Burris and the late Fredrick Wayne Russell. Shanna attended Meadowview Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Shanna was preceded in death by father, her maternal grandmother, June F. Shelton, her paternal grandfather, CR Russell and her uncle, Sonny Shelton. She is survived by her three children, Kaitlyn Leath, Tyrese Barnes and Kaiden Barnes, her mother, Karen S. Burris of King, maternal grandfather, Paul E. Shelton and wife Billie of Wake Forest, her paternal grandmother, Edith Russell of Greensboro, her half sister and half brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Meadowview Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Gone too soon, she will be missed by many. The burdens of this world left behind, she walked through those doors and met Jesus. How awesome that must have been! I will see you again one day. I will always cherish our memories. You can rest easy now my darling daughter.
