Mr. Shane Grayson Plowman, 30, passed away on December 18, 2020 after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Forsyth County on October 28, 1990 to Kenneth Alan Snyder and Robin Denise Plowman. His main love in life was his family. He spent his life loving and taking care of everyone. During his hospital stay, no matter how much pain he was suffering, he was calling his family letting them know that if something happened to him to please take care of his mom. Shane was loved by everyone for his kind heart, caring soul, and for his time to help anyone. Shane’s happy place was at Pop’s sitting on the back porch talking to everybody. He loved learning about the old times, and he got a lot of tall tales from Pop and his uncle Jack “the colonel” sitting on Pop’s porch. Shane loved music and playing his guitar. His love of playing the guitar started at an early age, one that he shared with a special cousin, Chris Butner. His quiet time was sitting by a bonfire with his best buddies, Zach Riddings, Tommy Griffin, Casey Reinhart, Josh Myers, Jordan Douglas, and Joshua Massey. And when it came time to go home, it was to an extended family of neighbors. These special people were Eliza and Aldene Myers, Paul and Shirley, Willie, Gale and Mike, Larry and Tam, Ed and Alice. Preceding him in death was his father, Kenneth Alan Snyder; maternal grandmother, Doris Phillips “Nana” Plowman Garnett; paternal grandfather, George C. Snyder; uncle, Mark Plowman and his four-legged friend, “Baby Girl.” Surviving is his mother, Robin Denise Plowman; maternal grandfather, James H. Plowman, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Martha Cude Snyder; aunts, Daphne Brown (David), Donna Hart, and Debbie Lutz (Mike); uncle, James Plowman, Jr. (Wendy); also surviving are several cousins, Tyler Hart, Molly Wood (Ronnie), Zach Plowman (Rhea), Jake Plowman (Brittany), Mattie Plowman, Julie Conner, and Jason Lutz; A good day to Shane was hanging out with Pops and his dog, “Baby Girl.” A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice in honor of Shane. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the family.
