Shanda Lee Doss Poe

Mrs. Shanda Lee Doss Poe passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on October 31, 1955 to the late Glenna Pauline Minor Adkins and Kerney Lee Doss. Mrs. Poe retired from PepsiCo with 20 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Poe was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Poe, on December 7, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Finney (Jed) of Pinnacle; son, James Bradley Poe of Pfafftown; five grandchildren; one sister, Sheila Johnson (Randy) of Clemmons; and an aunt, Thelma Brown. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 13 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Danny Hall officiating.
