Sean Robert Williams

TOBACCOVILLE Sean Robert Williams, 20, began making his mark in this world August 17, 1989. On Friday, March 12, 2010 he finished his journey. While here, this rambunctious young man enjoyed a myriad of sports and activities. If it involved being outside, Sean was to be a part. To name a few of his favorites, Sean enjoyed hiking, soccer, biking and football. One of his most recent accomplishments was the completion of his first 5K run. Sean graduated from West Stokes High School in 2007 and was continuing his education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he was currently a junior and a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Frank and Ethel Mack. Those left to cherish his memory are, his parents, Wendy W. and Robert A. Moses of Tobaccoville, grandparents, Barbara M. Williams of Woodbridge, VA and Robert F. Williams of Glendale, MD, great-grandparents, Agnes and Forest Williams of Lanham, MD as well as a host of other relatives and friends who, while cherished, are too numerous to list. A celebration of Sean's life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Carl Whittaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening, March 16, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Appalachian Trail Conservancy online at www.appalachiantrail.org. We'll be sad and of course there will be tears, but through it all we will remember the happy times we shared and smile.
