Sean Bert Gallagher

RURAL HALL - Mr. Sean Bert Gallagher, 23, of Rural Hall went home to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Mr. Gallagher was born July 20, 1984, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of Drew Gallagher and Lorraine Christiansen Bays. He was a server at The Olive Garden and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he loved his Lord and Savior. Sean never met an enemy and was always respectful. He was a great husband, father and gave wise council to many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marie Gallagher. He is survived by his wife, Heather Ratledge Gallagher, whom he married Nov. 1, 2006; daughters Kayley Gallagher and Alyson Goodman; son Matthew Ratledge; mother Lorraine Bays and husband Dan, father Drew Gallagher; maternal grandparents Bert and Lorraine Christiansen; paternal grandfather Daniel Gallagher Sr.; brother Daniel Gallagher; sister Sarah Rose Gallagher; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at Immanuel Baptist Church, with the Rev. L.C. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
