Scott Chapman

LewisvilleMr. Scott Chapman, 50, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Burke County on July 18, 1962. Scott was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, and gardening. Scott was a very hard worker at everything he did. Surviving is his wife, Sheena Chapman; son, Robert Chapman; mother, Hilda Howerton of Morganton and his sister, Beverly Crawford and husband Tony of Hickory and his beloved cat, ""Jen-Jen."" A visitation will be held 7-9 PM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. A service and burial will be held later in Morganton. The family would like to thank the staff on Nine West Oncology, Dr. Paschold, Paula, Lisa and staff at Forsyth Medical Center for all the wonderful care they provided Scott. Also a special thanks to all of his family and friends for the support given during this time.
