Miss Savannah Marie Brown, age 17, of Advance, NC, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was born November 29, 2006, in Forsyth County, NC, to Chuck and Angie Brown. She is survived by her parents; one sister, Haley Brown Walker; in her words "the best brother-in-law", Preston Walker; grandparents, Charles and Sharon Brown, and Ricky and Judy Williams; an uncle, Philip (Wendy) Williams; and cousins, Corbin and Piper.
Savannah was able to work for North Point Chrysler Jeep Inc. because of the flexibility that came with a homeschool education. Her job enabled her to fulfill her childhood dream of owning a red Jeep Wrangler. She was a faithful member of Hope Baptist Tabernacle where she wanted to be involved in everything that was going on. She loved serving the Lord and truly knew at such a young age how to show the love of Christ. She had a special ability to love even the unlovable. Savannah left a lasting impression on everyone she met of just how to love BIG! She was the first one to speak to a new person in her youth group. She wanted everyone to feel welcome and part of the group. She was also the one showing love to everyone's babies. She held a special place in her heart for her youth leaders Andrew and Rachel Perry but nothing like the love she held for their babies Brayden and Jaxon. Her infectious smile will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Hope Baptist Tabernacle, 2408 US Hwy. 158 Mocksville, NC 27028, by Pastor Chris Cantrell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Hope Baptist Tabernacle in Mocksville.
