Sarah Lou Nelson Bowman

KERNERSVILLE-Sarah Lou Nelson Bowman, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1917 in Forsyth Co. to the late Arralius and Jennie Robertson Nelson. Mrs. Bowman was a member of Crews United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wayne Bowman; two brothers, Ralph and Frank Nelson; two sisters, Effie N. Jones and Dore' N. Cornwell. Surviving are many nephews and nieces; including her constant companions, niece, Connie and husband, William; son, Will; daughter, Jennie and husband, David; and their adoring sons, Josh and Luke. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Crews United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Crady and Rev. Wanda Ogden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
