Sara Strickland

In loving memory of Sara Marie Strickland; She was born on March 15, 1960, in Charleston, West Virginia.  She worked For Kaba-Ilco for 17 years as a lock assembler.  Sara was a very loving and happy person and will be missed by all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Paul Glancy and Dollie May Glancy; brother, Tommy Glancy; nephew, John Andrew Glancy, and her niece, Jessica Mills. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Strickland; son, Timothy Strickland II and wife Sheila; daughter, Tara Strickland, and grandchild Charlie Strickland. In addition, she also had four living brothers, one sister, five other nieces, and one nephew, and two great nieces.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022, at New Testament Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Barton officiating.  Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
