Sandra 'Sandy' Annette Simmons White

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Sandra ' Sandy' Annette Simmons White, 48, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Sandy was born August 8, 1964 in Guilford County to Kenneth and Sylvia Misenheimer Simmons of Asheboro. Sandy was an adored and beloved wife, devoted mother, loyal friend and a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus. She graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School and UNC-G. She was a dedicated 2nd grade teacher at Cash Elementary School who was loved by her colleagues and students. Sandy was a member of Triad Baptist Church where she served in the children's ministry and played in the hand bell Choir . In addition to her parents Sandy is survived by her husband, Randy White of Kernersville; one daughter, Andrea White and one son, Daniel White of Kernersville; one sister, Tricia McCaskill of Asheboro. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, October 1, 2012 at Triad Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Decker officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family requests that memorials be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310 White Plains, NY 10605.
