Sandra Louise Shropshire

Butner-Sandra Louise Shropshire, 62, passed away Monday, August 03, 2009 at the Murdoch Developmental Center. She was born December 30, 1946 in Guilford Co. to the late Moir Edward Shropshire and Geneva Whicker Nelson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Shropshire. Surviving are two sisters, Nancy James and husband Walter of Kernersville, and Faye Kiser and Jay of Winston Salem; one nephew and three nieces. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Bunker Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Chitty officiating. Memorials may be made to the Murdock Developmental Center, 1600 East C. St., Butner, NC 27509. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Shropshire family.
