Mrs. Sandra Kay Livengood Morris, 74, of Pfafftown, died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at her home. She was born September 30, 1942 in Forsyth County to Herbert E. & Katherine Brown Livengood. Mrs. Morris was a member of Old Town Baptist Church where she was very active. She sang in the choir for several years and played the hand bells. She retired from Morris Heating and Air Conditioning and enjoyed travelling. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Morris will be known for always doing things for others. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Livengood; and sister Linda Livengood.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Roger Morris; two daughters, Torri Morris of Pfafftown, and Jill Michelle Morris of King; four grandchildren, Grant and Amanda Morris and Bryan and Drew Boitnott; two great-grandchildren, Zoe Nicole Morris and Bentley Wayne Morris; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, April 3, 2017, at Old Town Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Speas officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Sunday, April 2nd, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner Children's Hospital, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157, Hospice, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, or Old Town Baptist Church, 4386 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
