Sandra S. Hunter Edwards of Swansboro, NC
March 7, 1946- June 4, 2015

Sandy passed suddenly at the age of 69, at the family home in Winston-Salem N.C. on Thursday evening.
She was born in Wheeling W. Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur M. Hunter and Martha J. Thomas Hunter, ten brothers and sisters. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers, and Sandys five children: Tonia K. Bell, Denise Byrd, Tim Sneed and wife Ally, Angella Blackford and husband Steve and Daniel Edwards and wife Kathy, as well as nine grandchildren: Trisha Bell Carpenter and husband Thomas, Ashley Sorrels, Kyle Anderson, Lindsey Geraci, Lane Byrd, Levi Byrd, Alexander and Adam Blackford and Brady Edwards. Four great grandchildren: Payton, Charlee, Marley and Paxton; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and many, many friends.
Sandy requested cremation and to have no services, however we ask you to celebrate her life by helping others just as she did. We leave you with this: As she walked her path in this life, she only wanted to love, be loved, show kindness to all and to ""Live Simply"".
In the blink of an eye everything can change, Love with all of your heart, you may never have that chance again. There might not be a warning. We won't know when or where. The only thing we're certain of is that we'll meet them once again…
