Sallie Waltz Simpson

Mrs. Sallie Waltz Simpson, 66, of Advance died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born September 30, 1941 in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Waldo Emerson and Doris Sainsbury Waltz. Mrs. Simpson was an active member and Regional Coordinator of the Oley Foundation. She was an honor graduate of George Washington University and received her Master's Degree from The University of Maryland. She was a recognized stained glass artist and instructor. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Mark Simpson, Jr. of the home. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Oley Foundation, 214 Hun Memorial, MC-28, Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY 12208.
