Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Rehder Serosky, 61, died on February 29, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on December 10, 1954 in Forsyth County to Patricia Zminkowsky and John Rehder. Sallie graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in 1972, she went on to begin her undergraduate studies at N.C. State and graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She started her career with Booke & Co. and later retired from Aon Consulting Co. with many years of service. Volunteering with Animal Assisted Therapy at Wake Forest Baptist Health and Meals on Wheels with Senior Services, she was passionate about helping others. In addition to being an avid animal-lover, she enjoyed nature and the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her loving husband of 40 years, Mark Serosky; one son, Michael Serosky; one daughter, Susan Serosky; three brothers, David Rehder (wife Margaret), Paul Rehder (wife Barbara), and John Rehder (wife Shirley); and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:30pm-4:15pm on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Words of remembrance will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Animal Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741.
