Rutha Sanderson Grisham

KERNERSVILLE-Mrs. Rutha Neal Sanderson Grisham, 82, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation. She was born September 11, 1926 in Robeson Co. to the late Martha Hunt and James Sanderson, Jr. Mrs. Grisham was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David Grisham. Surviving are her husband, Loren E. Grisham of the home; two grandchildren, Christina McNaughton and husband Tyler of Burlington, Ontario, and David George Grisham of Alberta, Canada; a daughter-in-law, Marina Weston and husband Edward of Stratford, Ontario; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Kate McNaughton; three sisters, Louise Lockear, Frances Waites, and Lee Ellen Lowry; two brothers, David Sanderson, and Tommy Sanderson. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Autrey officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Mt Clemens, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, February 13, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
