Ms. Ruth Trivette Tolbert, 57 of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, September 5, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Ruth was born August 31, 1951 in Forsyth County to Herbert Noah and Lillian Hicks Noah. She loved to watch the New York Giants play football, enjoyed watching Nascar, loved to tan, her faithful companion Shadow and her grand kids.Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Noah, her grandmother, Naomi Hicks and a brother, Joseph Prevette. She is survived by her two daughters; Darlene Johnson and husband Wayne, Donna Mecum and husband, David, a son; Rusty Tolbert and wife Michelle of Winston-Salem; three grand kids; Isabella Mecum, Zack Caffrey, Faith Johnson; her mother Lillian Noah, a brother, James Noah and her best friend, Heather Threadgill. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, September 7 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, September 8 at Fellowship Baptist Church,(Teague Road) officiated by Rev. Randy Whitman. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Ruth passed away Friday from an auto accident. She has now gone to be with Jesus and will be in our hearts forever
