Ruth M. Tilley

Ruth M. Tilley, 82, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 14, 1930 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Harding and Dora Murphy Matthews. Mrs. Tilley was a long time member at Crestwood Baptist Church. She retired from WFBMC with 27 years of service. Mrs. Tilley enjoyed gardening and was always willing to help others. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are a son, Randy Tilley and wife Debbie of Midway; daughter, Lynn Brintnall of Lewisville; six grandchildren, Amanda Rackard and husband Jonathan, Derek Tilley and wife Elizabeth, Matt Brintnall and wife Alexandria, Megan Vogler and husband Chris, Shelby Brintnall, and Troy Brintnall; seven great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Ashley, Tate, Brooklyn, Lauren, Peyton, and Tori; also surviving is her special companion, ""Sofie."" A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Sonny Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
