Ruth Shelvock

Mrs. Ruth "Peg" Lorraine Shelvock, 96, of Clemmons passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. She was born June 9, 1922 in Joliet Illinois, the daughter of the late, Arthur L. and Edith Gifford McPartlin. Mrs. Shelvock enjoyed sewing and quilting but most of all she loved her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Shelvock; her great granddaughter, Ambrym Eaton; her sister, Sheila Pearce; and her two brothers, Arthur McPartlin, Jr. and LeLand McPartlin Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Ilg and husband, Jack of Cape Cod, Mass. And Kay Bigelow and husband, Carter of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren, Katerina, Gabriella, Andres, Amanda, Kimberly, Rebecca and Donald; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
