Ruth Ketner

Ms. Ruth Dalton Ketner, 85, passed away Sunday February 13, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds.  She was born February 12, 1937, in Forsyth County to the late Carl Creed Dalton and Lula Estelle Rucker Dalton.  Ruth  attended Shacktown Church of Christ in Yadkinville.  She loved her Lord, family, and gardening, especially her Iris.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie D. Dalton; two sisters, Ethelene Dalton and Betty Pennington.  She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Ketner; son, Bobby Wayne Ketner; two daughters, Pamela K. Weikle, and Angela K Warden (Johnny); six grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Roy E. Dalton and one sister, Katherine Wall.  A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Ketner Church of Christ church cemetery with Bro. Lawrence Warden and Bro. Steve McCollum officiating the service. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the medical staff at Novant Health for their professional care given to Ruth during her stay.  In addition, they would like to extend a special thanks to Trellis Supportive Care for their support during her last days, and to all family and friends for their prayers and comfort shown to the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
