Ruth Wood Jack

Ruth Wood Jack, 65, of Pfafftown, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1946 in Wilmington, Delaware to Robert William Jack II and Anna Ruth Wood Jack. Ms. Jack was of the Episcopal faith. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BSN degree in nursing. She retired from Forsyth Novant and then retired from Wesley Long Hospital. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Jerry Keith Raudenbush. Surviving are two daughters, Heather Alexander and husband Mike of Kernersville, Amy Raudenbush of Somerville, MA; three grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan and Jordan Alexander; and one brother, Robert William Jack III and wife Lorie of Lynn Haven, FL. She also leaves behind special and close friends, Lew and Barb Boyles, and Pat and Lillian Giese. A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 6:45 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Memorials and Honor Program, P.O.
