Ruth Hamner Gobble

Mrs. Ruth Hamner Gobble, 92, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. She was born August 12, 1917 in Davidson County to J.W. And Retta Hamner. Mrs. Gobble was retired from Thalhimers Department Store. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Navie Druid Gobble. Surviving are her daughter, Sue G. Scott of Burlington; her son, Wayne Gobble and wife Lake of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren, Dru and Jennifer Scott of Burlington, Mark Gobble, Andrea Amorese, Robert Gobble and Perry Gurganus; and one sister, Pat Crouch.
