Ruth Feiler

Ruth Elizabeth Feiler peacefully passed away in her sleep on January 26, 2021, with family by her side. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 8, 1936, to Gottlob and Lena Feiler, who immigrated from Germany in 1929. Religion was an important part in Ruth’s childhood which was carried into her adult life. In 1972, Ruth moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she worked for Sara Lee in the accounting department until her retirement. Ruth was preceded into Heaven by her parents, five siblings, and first-born grandchild, Brandon Kerik. She is survived by two siblings, Carl Feiler and Arthur Feiler; and her children, Kimberly Kerik Lineberry (John), Kristine Kerik Duggins (Tim), and David Kerik (Dana). Ruth has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who lovingly called her “Oma”, German for Grandmother. Ruth will be fondly missed by all whose lives she touched. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle soul.  A private memorial service for Ruth will be held.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Ms. Feiler.
