Ruth Ellen Beasley

KERNERSVILLE - Miss Ruth Ellen Beasley, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1929 in Guilford Co. to the late Melvin Newsom and Geneva Draughn Beasley. Miss Beasley was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Kernersville where she was a greeter for many years. Ruth was a very special person who loved her church, family and many friends. Surviving are her two sisters, Melva B. Lain and husband, David of Kernersville, and Jerry B. Dalton and husband, Joe of Deland, FL; one brother, Bobby Beasley and wife, Faye of Lexington; one niece; four nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at the funeral home.
