Ruth Rose Anders

Mrs. Ruth Rose Anders, 82, of Clemmons, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Walter Wesley and Myrtle Anders Rose. Mrs. Anders was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Estel Mack Anders. Surviving are six children, son, Jesse Anders of the home, daughter, Brenda Whitaker and husband Lewis of Tobaccoville, daughter, Darnel Grimes and husband Pete of Yadkinville, son, Walter Anders of the home, son, Steve Anders and wife Tess of Clemmons and a son, Rocky Anders and wife Sandy of King; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mozelle Rose of Winston-Salem and Jeanette Smith of Clinton, NC. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bill James officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
