Ruth Adkins Love

Rural Hall- Ruth Adkins Love, 86, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on August 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Rual Oscar Adkins and Pinctoria Joyce Adkins. Ruth was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of New Hope Ministry. She retired from Food Fair with 35 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Love. Ruth is survived by a special nephew, Jackie Adkins of King and many other extended family members. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at New Hope Ministry in Pinnacle with Pastor Donnie Bowman officiating. Private burial will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 prior to the service at New Hope Ministry.
