Russell Cutrell

Kernersville- Mr. Russell Lee Cutrell, 59, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. He was born December 15, 1962, in Forsyth County, the son of Robert and Marlene Liverman Cutrell. A 1981 graduate of East Forsyth High School, he worked for the City of Winston-Salem. Russell enjoyed fishing, gardening, mechanics, woodworking and cooking. He was a quiet person who was hard working and took pride in his work. Russell would do anything for anyone. He was a man who spoke softly but with wisdom. His family was his life. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Rex Cutrell. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Suzanne Ruff Cutrell; three children, Tori Cutrell of Kernersville, John Paul Cutrell of Greensboro and Tanner Ruff Cutrell of King; his mother, Marlene L. Cutrell of Kernersville; two brothers, Jeff Cutrell (Ruthie) of Chattanooga, TN and Doug Cutrell of Kernersville and many extended family members and friends.
