Russell Eugene Blackburn, Jr.

Colfax- Mr. Russell Eugene Blackburn Jr., age 56 of Colfax passed away Saturday January 28, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1955 in Guilford County to the late Russell Eugene Blackburn Sr. and Willie Holliman Blackburn. Russell was an avid collector of military memorabilia. Surviving are a son, Donovan Spencer Blackburn and a daughter, Nikki Rene Blackburn both of the home, the mother of his children, Mitzi K. Beck of Albemarle, one brother Gerald Wayne Blackburn of Colfax, two sisters, Linda Sue of Glendale, Va. and Debra Ann Rivers of Roanoke Va. and many special nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday February 1, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Sam White officiating.
