Russell Eugene Ballard

Mr. Russell E. Ballard, 84, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away May 3, 2023, with his family by his side. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after working for 32 years.  Mr. Ballard then worked at J.A. Heard & Associates until 2017 with his good friend, Frank Huff.  Russell loved to spend time fishing for flounder and trout at Davis Island.  Preceding him in death was his wife of 53 years, Louise Ballard. He is survived by his two sons (Rodney and Randy) and four grandchildren (Brooke, Allison, Spenser, and Luke).  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 8, 2023, at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Benjamin Webb officiating.  The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Crestwood Baptist Church, 530 Motor Rd.
