Rudolph 'Doc' Hall

ADVANCE - Mr. Rudolph ""Doc"" Hall, 84, of Advance, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Hall was born on June 19, 1927 to the late Thomas Hall and Dora Hawks Hall. Doc fought in WWII as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Doc was a member of Moose Lodge # 466 in Winston-Salem. Mr. Hall also enjoyed singing. He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Vicki Lynn Hall; a sister, Della Holder and a brother, Roscoe Hall. Surviving Mr. Hall are his four daughters, Kelly Widener of Winston-Salem, Julie Luffman (Bobby) of Advance, NC, Shannon Woodard of Winston-Salem, and Marci Mullins of Kingsport, TN; two sons, Bobby Hall (Michele) of Advance, NC and Bruce Shaw (Teresa) of Yadkinville, NC; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Hall of Hampton, VA and Hassie McHone of Mt. Airy, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dale Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to Moose Lodge # 466, 1495 Old Salisbury Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or an organization of the donor's choice.
