Rubye Crews Cash

Mrs. Rubye Crews Cash, 94, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth Co. on May 13, 1917 to the late Jesse Franklin Crews and Martha Nevada Grubbs Crews. Mrs. Cash retired from Duplan Corporation with 40 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Cash, a step-son, David R. Cash and two brothers, Donald and Jack Crews. Mrs. Cash is survived by a step-son, Norman Cash and wife JoAnn of Pfafftown, five grandchildren, David Chris Cash (Pam), Kelly Ann Landreth (Jay), Deanna Lindley (Mike), Steve Cash and Craig Cash, six great-grandchildren and her friend and caregiver, Bronna Chatman. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. Friends and family may pay their respects at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall during business hours on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
